Beyond a Coat of Paint

Concrete Coatings Built for Florida's Sun and Rain

Bare concrete doesn’t stand much of a chance against a Florida summer. Cracks widen, surfaces stain, and old sealers go tacky underfoot within a few years. A properly installed patio coating changes that equation, sealing out moisture while giving your outdoor living space a texture that stays slip resistant even when wet. We use polyaspartic coatings on most projects because they cure fast and resist UV rays without yellowing, which matters a lot on a surface that sits in direct sun all day.

Where It Gets Used

Concrete Coating Options for Every Outdoor Space

One Coating Rarely Fits Every Surface

A pool deck that stays wet all day needs a different texture than a front walkway that mostly deals with foot traffic and rain. We match the coating system to how the space actually gets used, not just what looks good in a photo. That’s the difference between a patio that looks great for a season and one that still looks great in year eight.

Straight Answers on Coatings

What Actually Determines a Good Coating Job

Not every concrete coating is created equal, and the difference usually comes down to prep and product, not marketing.

Moisture Testing First

We test for trapped moisture before coating, since it’s the top cause of bond failure in Florida.

Polyaspartic Over Epoxy

We use polyaspartic systems outdoors because they resist the yellowing that plagues standard epoxy in the sun.

Slip Resistance Built In

Decorative flakes and textured finishes keep surfaces safer for bare feet, even soaking wet.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had S&W paint the inside of our home... ceilings and walls and additionally we needed him to remove wallpaper that had been up since 1995, repair a damaged wall and remove older window treatments and repair those walls too....Walter and his team did an exceptional job....we had gotten 3 quotes for pricing and time....all quotes we fairly close some were higher than his some were lower but his timing for us was perfect. Walter and his team showed up on time or early did an amazing job at a fair price...and cleaned up after themselves...our home looks amazing. Thank you Walter we will definitely hire you again for our painting needs!!! A very easy recommendation for S&W Painting.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I own a condo in an HOA that S&W Painting was contracted to paint.
The two and a half story buildings are massive. With a base wall color, contrasting window trim and more contrasting colored staircases.
Walter, and his two sons, are very professional at what they do. In addition, they show up on time, stay the entire day, and work very hard through those days.
They are friendly, very polite and go above and beyond what they are required to do.
They all work in tandem with each other, and they cleaned up work spaces daily.
Above all, they take the utmost care in their job as skilled painters.
I am VERY IMPRESSED, by S&W Painting.
I am very happy to wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs the services of professional interior or exterior painters.
